Pallav Raval PharmD, MBA, Obituary, Death: It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dr. Pallav J. Raval, who left this world on April 21, 2025, at the age of 53. Pallav’s unexpected departure has left a deep void in the lives of his family, friends, and colleagues. His warmth, generosity, and vibrant spirit touched countless individuals, making his loss all the more poignant.

Born on March 31, 1972, to Ranjan and Janak Raval, Pallav was the younger sibling to his brother, Parind. From a young age, he demonstrated a remarkable thirst for knowledge and an innate curiosity that would guide him through his educational and professional journey. He attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), where he honed his academic skills before furthering his education at Mercer University, where he attended Pharmacy School. These formative years set the stage for a fulfilling career in pharmacy, a profession that Pallav approached with diligence and compassion.

As a dedicated pharmacist, Pallav had an exceptional ability to connect with others. His professional integrity and unwavering commitment to his patients earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues. Beyond his career, Pallav was a devoted family man, and his greatest pride and joy were his daughters, Alexis and Avani, who were born in 2009. He often spoke of them with boundless love, considering them his greatest accomplishments and sources of happiness.

Pallav’s zest for life was not confined to his professional and family roles. A passionate traveler, he reveled in exploring new cultures and connecting with people from all walks of life. His travels allowed him to forge friendships across the globe, and his easy-going nature and ability to make others feel at ease ensured that he left a lasting impact wherever he went. He believed that the world was full of beauty and diversity, and he carried this belief with him wherever he traveled, embracing each new adventure with enthusiasm and wonder.

In addition to his love for travel, Pallav was an avid supporter of his community. He was always the first to lend a helping hand, whether through professional mentorship or personal kindness. To honor Pallav’s memory, a visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27, 2025, beginning at 9:00 AM at Pumphrey Funeral Home, located at 7557 Wisconsin Avenue, Bethesda, MD 20814-3501. A service will follow at 10:00 AM. Pallav’s family invites all who knew and loved him to attend this gathering of friends and family as they come together to celebrate his life.

Later in the day, a celebration of life luncheon will be held at the Montgomery Country Club from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 20908 Golf View Drive, Laytonsville, MD 20882. This event will provide an opportunity for everyone who was touched by Pallav to share stories, reflect on cherished memories, and offer their condolences in a warm, supportive environment.
